Save the drum track then re-map it with MidiFileMapper. Something else to note is I mostly use Jazz or Latin styles, I think this might have something to do with it since the latin kits often have percussion instruments (clave, guirjo, etc) in addition to standard kit drums.Įdited by watermelon ( 03/01/17 10:36 AM) I've tried exporting the MIDI drum tracks and dropping them into a SD track directly but this has the same results as loading SD directly in BIAB. This works without a hitch except I can't get the drum kit mapping right either way. I use BIAB to generate rhythm section and piano tracks which I then import into Sonar X3 and record my guitars on top. I've found other suggestions to make a custom patch map but this has proven easier said than done. I've searched on PG's site and I found a few threads on this before, but none of them address this particular issue. I have multiple drumsets available in SD and I've tried them all but the MIDI mappings are always messed up. I've been able to add SD as a plugin in BIAB but the mappings are really off- midi tracks that should be played on the hi-hat are sent to SD on the bass drum, etc. Has anyone had any success using Superior Drummer as a plugin for BIAB?
